The tea house treks or lodge trek is the most popular way to trek for both Nepalese and trekkers to travel from lodge to lodge and carrying minimal luggage. Hotel accommodation is most readily available in the Everest region, the Langtang region and the entire Annapurna region. In the three main trekking areas these lodges have evolved into sophisticated trekkers' lodges which today offer private rooms, sun-terraces, hot showers, fresh food is widely available throughout the trekking routes - nutritious, delicious and digestible.

During the busy trekking seasons in Nepal October to November and March to May, it may be difficult to find room on the Annapurna, the Langtang and the Everest trekking areas, we recommend you to carry your own sleeping bag.

Although many teahouses or lodges in the popular trekking routes are reasonably comfortable but the accommodation in high altitudes are basic but clean. You can walk faster or slower than others and make side trips which are much worthy to visit and know the area very well and not possible with a large group of trekkers. But it's one helluva lot of fun and a great experience, actually living with the local folk.

The mount Everest region is second only to the Annapurna in terms of the number of trekkers visiting it annually and it would surely be the most popular destination in the country were it not slightly more difficult to get to. View Itinerary

The Langtang region lies to the north of Kathmandu. A bus journey takes one to the starting point at Syabrubesi. This trek offers a different perspective to life in the Himalayas. With less habitation and a much less crowded route than the previous two, there is more time for peace, silence and time for reflection. View Itinerary

All requirements are hand carried by the porters while the vastly experienced Sherpa guides look after your every need, including bed tea. Food is cooked on the trail with the highest priority given to hygiene. On these treks you will be with Mother Nature from the beginning to the end. View Itinerary
