Trekking in the Everest region is justifiably popular, but we take you off the beaten track through the remote Thame village and over two less trekked passes – the Renjo La (5,340m), and the Kongma La (5,545m). This high Everest trekking trail provides fantastic views of renowned  Everest region peaks and with very few western trekkers. We have the excellent typical purposes of climbing the tops of Kala Pattar and Gokyo Ri, offering panoramic views of Cho Oyo, Mount Everest, Cholatse and many more soaring Himalayan peaks. We cross the third pass (Kongma La), the tough and often snow covered Cho La, which connects these valleys. If you want there is also the chance to trek to Everest Base Camp.

This is a challenging high altitude trek offers the most spectacular mountain scenery in the Everest region. The three high passes itinerary takes you less-trekked area into the Thame valley, over the Renjo La to Gokyo. The spectacular Kongma La is also crossed from Lobuche to Chukhung, which detours parts of the main Everest trail.

All three  high passes provide superb views of the snow- covered himalayan giants of the Everest region, including Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Cholatse and Makalu. The typical trekking challenges of Gokyo Ri and Kala Pattar, both peaks offering fantastic views of Everest and many other 8,000m and 7,000m peaks. We consider this is the final high altitude adventure trekking in the world’s most spectacular mountain landscape. The unsurpassed scenery more than rewards for the rigours of this challenging trek.
